WIMBLEDON GARDEN DESIGN PROJECT (SW20)

The design for this large, sloping garden is based on an Art Deco recurring circle theme to create two distinctive ‘garden rooms’. A set of circular sandstone steps leads to the gravel garden; a brick edged gravel path and planting borders flow around a lawn flanked by grasses and colourful herbaceous perennials. The path snakes on through an avenue of pleached Pear trees underplanted with Box hedging, down through an array of structural evergreen trees and shrubs toward the white garden; a shaded seating area beneath fruit trees and climbers. A great place to escape and unwind.
